T-Series-minStarted by Gulshan Kumar in 1983 today, it is one of the most Indian popular film production and music record companies. The first Bollywood release produced by the T-series was “AASHIQUI” which was released in 1990. The album sold 20 million numbers ie., became one of the best-selling soundtrack albums in Bollywood.

Another hit given by it was “DIL HAI KE MANTA NAHIN” in 1991. Also, the production promotes new talents in his movies and is committed to infusing fresh blood into the film industry. Besides these, it has the most subscribed YouTube Channel that uploads Bollywood music videos.

As of July 2024, T-Series has reached a milestone of 270 million subscribers on YouTube with 21K videos uploaded.

UTV Motion PicturesFounded by Ronnie Screwvala & Zarina Screwvale in 1996, it is also known as Disney UTV. “The Railway Men” is one of my current favorite Netflix programs of this production. This is based on the concept of the Bhopal gas tragedy at the Union Carbide India Limited chemical factory.

The station master Ghulam Dastagir and his staff at the Bhopal Junction train station on the tragic night efforts are depicted throughout. All four episodes of this series were aired on November 18, 2023, on Netflix.

Rajshri Productions

Rajshri Productions-minIt is one of the oldest film production companies in India and is still actively running. Rajshri Productions was involved in producing the most successful Hindi films such as:

It was formed in 2020 following the rebranding from Eros International Plc and ErosSTX Global. The company’s notable subsidiaries include Colour Yellow Productions, Eros Animation, and Eyeqube Studios, among others.

The partnership with Universal Music Group in 2008 aimed to promote pop music in India. Simultaneously, the alliance with Lionsgate involved the co-production of films and the sharing of film libraries that enhance their global distribution capabilities.

Created the first film under the umbrella of Fox Star Studios, in collaboration with another film production firm, Phat Phish Motion Pictures, was ‘Quick Gun Murugun (2009)’, which was in English.

Bhansali Productions

Bhansali Productions This production house is among the top ones. Born on 24 February 1963 in Bhuleshwar into a Gujarati Jain family, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mother earlier used to sew clothes to make family meets.

His family has also contributed to the industry. For instance, his sister, Bela Bhansali Segal directed the movie “Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi”. Also, Bela’s daughter (Sharmin) debuted as an actress in his production Malaal.

In 2015, the Government of India honored him with the Padma Shri (the fourth-highest civilian award). Here are the top films by him:
